Photography Artist Reflection

During my artistic process I noticed how I didn't put much effort into getting more pictures and I kind of rushed taking the pictures too, but it was new for me to use the photography camera for almost all my pictures. To meet the goal of this assignment I had to place certain objects a certain way to fit the descriptions of composition photos. Also, i had to position the camera at different angles and distances to really capture the detail/ lighting of the object that I was photographing. My strongest image was of the skeleton because I was able to get at least close enough to photograph its features, the image fit into the lines of the rule of thirds, and the picture showed good lighting on the face of the skeleton and shadow which emphasizes the light of the picture. My weakest image was of the landscape or emphasizing height/distance because the horizon wasn't as low as it should've been and there was barely a building to emphasize in height. Three ways I could've improved that image is putting more effort into the picture because all I did was take the picture without consideration of how it might fit into the category of height and distance, I could have put more of the building into the picture so its height could be shown in relation to the photo, and I could have put the horizon line a little bit lower than where I had it so that I could really show the height and distance of the picture. Overall, I would evaluate my effort in this assignment to be low because all I did was take pictures instead of thinking how it would apply to the requirements of he project. If  could do this assignment again I would've gone to different places to take the pictures so that my choices of photographs would not be so limited, and I would have taken more pictures to work with.
