The difference between a snap shot and artistic photography is that a snap shot catches the image instantly and an artistic photograph captures the image with more time to process it.

I don't think think that the picture is of assault because maybe the soldier who came back was just happy to go back home and during this time I think that the cameras operated slower than normal, so if the woman was being assaulted then maybe you could be able to see her trying to push herself away from him because if she didn't allow the man to kiss her then she would have reacted as if trying to free herself from him. If the man just randomly grabbed her, the cameras back then probably could not have been able to just snapshot the photo, a struggling woman could have been captured instead.

Texture

The texture of the orange is accentuated because all the bumps and small holes that it has are pointed out due to side lighting. As for the apple, it's smooth exterior is also shown in this photo along with certain spots that it has. Through this picture, it can be seen that this sea star has a rough and bumpy texture because all the individual designs on the star are shown through the lighting of the image. The texture of this shell is made up of lines and after editing the photo, the shell's color and lined texture is more defined.

Photography Artist Reflection

During my artistic process I noticed how I didn't put much effort into getting more pictures and I kind of rushed taking the pictures too, but it was new for me to use the photography camera for almost all my pictures. To meet the goal of this assignment I had to place certain objects a certain way to fit the descriptions of composition photos. Also, i had to position the camera at different angles and distances to really capture the detail/ lighting of the object that I was photographing. My strongest image was of the skeleton because I was able to get at least close enough to photograph its features, the image fit into the lines of the rule of thirds, and the picture showed good lighting on the face of the skeleton and shadow which emphasizes the light of the picture. My weakest image was of the landscape or emphasizing height/distance because the horizon wasn't as low as it should've been and there was barely a building to emphasize in height.
